What a genuinely fantastic experience!!! For many years i had a dream of making my perfect touring guitar... Tony, listened and took the time to understand my exact wants and needs and brought my dream to life. He made me two perfect touring guitars. Both better than any of the high end work horses I have owned over the years. They play like a dream, each with their own unique personality and sound.

In short, they are both superb..... big thanks to Tony Edwards for all his hard work. My advice; if you have never really found your dream guitar speak to Tony.... he’s a genius.

A lovely instrument with a sumptuous nitro finish and eye-catching design, it was beautifully set up on arrival and plays like a dream with a gloriously chunky neck. I can’t speak too highly of Tony either - friendly and professional, he’s easy to chat to. And what’s more, while we were discussing payment and delivery options, he noticed a small nick to the finish he hadn’t previously spotted and surprised me with a substantial discount. I am really predominately an acoustic guitar player..But I have been wanting a Fender Stratocaster for some time, to try and expand into the electric playing area, but having seen racks of them everywhere, mostly new which I’m sure are fine instruments, nothing grabbed my imagination. I watch Tonys videos and facebook page and liked his passion and his obvious knowledge about guitars came across very well to me..,Luckily one of his Historic builds ,a Stratocaster based on Eric’s Brownie, came up recently as available which I was fortunate to buy. Having received it I am looking forward to being able to move my electric guitar playing forward, and consider myself fortunate to start on such a fine instrument.

After spending months searching for the perfect ‘S’ type guitar to no avail, I contacted Tony. We discussed at length everything I wanted my dream guitar to be from woods, colour and finish through to custom electronics, hardware and even neck profile and radius. Tony returned with a quote significantly cheaper than an ‘off the shelf’ custom shop guitar from the main manufacturer.

Tony kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout the build, and I was called back in a few weeks before completion to confirm the neck profile in my hand - not something many custom builder offer! Once satisfied the guitar was painted and relic’d to my liking (something which, again at my request, Tony went further than I could request from any mainstream custom shop!) The quality of the guitar is superb, with premium woods, a perfectly imperfect nitro finish (relic’d exactly how I wanted it). No detail was overlooked and every little design feature I requested was incorporated, all of a very attractive price. I was so happy I bought a stock model a few months later! I would absolutely trust Tony with any of my existing instruments, and I’m sure he will be building me more in the future!

Tony has been a long time "go-to" guy for us at the studio. He has fixed everything from mixing desks to building in house custom guitars. Started using Tony in 2007 and haven't/wouldn't use anyone else again. He charges the fairest price and is no con-man (which unfortunately you find all to often in the business). Really can't recommend this guy enough, I've taken him some of the most challenging projects and he always finds a way to get it sorted and leaves me walking away a very happy customer. And having seen and played some of his guitars I was chuffed when my fiancée bought me a mahogany bodied behemoth made by Tony..it has a huge neck with 24 frets and a fixed bridge.. sounds and plays as good if not better than my PRS guitars.. so if your looking for a true custom build guitar.. talk to Tony better still go visit his workshop ... his passion for music is engaging and his skill is 2nd to none...
