Jay Harrison (Kingdom Keys / Dick York & The Originals)

‘The Doomcaster’

Jay Harrison.jpg

Jay is a musician based in the heart of Norfolk. An accomplished multi instrumentalist, Jay has toured the globe as bassist for Under the Influence and behind the kit for Dick York & The Originals with support slots to the likes of punk legends The Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and many more.

Jay has also appeared on a range of recordings gaining a reputation for being a safe pair of hands no matter what he’s holding. Having spent years playing Fender P Basses, Jay is now the proud owner of an Edwards bass affectionately named the ‘Doomcaster’. Taking inspiration from the Midheaven range, this no nonsense 5 string bass is versatile enough to switch between the alt rock stylings of 6 piece Kingdom Keys and the punk tinged mod revival act Sta Prest. With shows on the horizon for both, an album in the pipeline for Sta Prest and a critically acclaimed debut album released with Kingdom Keys, 2021 seems the perfect time to join the Edwards guitar roster.

Dick York (Cryssis/Dick York Originals)

Dic York Single Cut Signature Series

WhatsApp+Image+2020-11-29+at+10.09.10.jpg

Dick York has a discography dating back over 5 decades. He describes himself as a singer/songwriter but that could not be further from the truth. True he has written many brilliant tunes but for those who have seen him play live he is a unquestionably a ferocious guitarist, a rare mix of ‘punk and prog’ born out of the music revolution of the late 70’s

Over the years Dick has been involved in many music projects, however his enduring passion is the band ‘Cryssis’. He formed Cryssis with his old friends Vom Ritchie (who also plays with international euro rockers ‘Die Toten Hosen’) in 1980. The two have written many songs together and have received much critical acclaim in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and most recently Argentina

Dick is a busy guy and with his solo projects & Cryssis has toured across the world with ‘The Drop Kick Murphy’s’, ‘Frank Turner’, The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Wölli & Die Band des Jahres and Die Artze.

Now the proud owner of two Edwards ‘Dic York’ Specials he’s recording new tunes and planning tours for 2021.
